It is a truly global maritime system designed for the professional maritime market; deep-sea, fishing and workboats. Though just as useful in the recreational leisure market. It is system designed and operates on a truly global basis worldwide on Iridium’s truly global satellite Certus network.
The LT-4100 voice and data capabilities on a truly worldwide, global basis on Iridium’s satellite network. It can operate as the primary satellite communication system aboard vessels providing basic communication requirements for ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore connectivity. Providing two (2) high-quality voice channels and IP-data (22 kbps (up)/88 kbps (down)) Built for the requirements of the demanding maritime market. A rugged, compact configuration allows for ease of installation and the use of a single coaxial cable to connect the antenna unit to the control unit with up to 500 meters of separation between the units for greatest options for the best possible placement of the antenna unit with free line of sight to Iridium’s satellites. :LT-4100 control unit utilizes either a bracket mount or flush mount. The antenna unit can be mounted with a pole mount. The control unit has a large TFT display and with built-in webserver allows for ease of service and maintenance.
