The RockBLOCK Switch provides switch functionality from the most remote locations.
The RockBLOCK Switch is a remote on/off control switch for managing remote devices. Digital Signal Output allows direct switching of low-voltage devices or configured with a relay, or mains power.
Utilizing Iridium's Short Burst Data (SBD) truly global airtime service. Remote switch on/off connectivity in hard-to-reach, remote locations globally. Connectivity to a wide range of sensors which provide value readings without a site visit.

Key Features::
- Input/Output capability:
1 open drain output (30V open, 100mA closed)
2 digital inputs (dry contact – 300uA wetting)
1 Analog input configurable as either 0-10V or 4-20mA - Pulse capability: the digital output can be triggered to pulse, either one shot or PWM. This gives the option, for example, to run through a timed OFF/ON with just a single message
- Multiple time base and pulse width settings
- Global satellite transmission: Iridium’s reputable LEO satellite network provides low latency data transmission with global coverage
- Utilizes Ground Control’s simple and robust IoT management platform Cloudloop, or our API, for remote data, device and IoT system management
- Small form factor, with multiple mounting options – suitable for outdoor use in testing environments
- IP68 rated: submersible to 3m for 24 hours
- Proven to operate at -40C and +85C
- Lower power usage: Unit in standby (ready to switch) is 750mW (<65mA@12V)
