IsatPhone Link is a low-cost fixed-site satellite phone service when operating in rural or remote areas outside of terrestrial or cellular phone service coverage and can be deployed globally.

Maritime Safety
Inmarsat’s FleetBroadband provides Voice Distress voice service, with priority call access, which interrupts all non-emergency calls as soon as the Dedicated Distress Button(DDB) is pressed. Once pressed the vessel is connected with an operator at one of four MRCCs (Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center(s)) The MRCCs are strategically located around the globe. Through the use of add-on equipment to the select FleetBroadband terminals enables the service. Urgency Priority calls to a MRCC for maritime assistance, medical assistance and medical advice can be made via Inmarsat's 2-digit dial codes free of charges. All FleetBroadband terminals support as Standard the free 505 Emergency Calling service. The service routes calls to the appropriate MRCC but without priority over other voice traffic. Dial 505 (Think SOS) putting you straight through to search and rescue.
FleetPhone
Inmarsat's low-cost maritime satellite phone service provides service beyond the range of land-based network services. It is a global fixed solution for vessels whose primary requirement is for voice communications. Additionally to supply additional or back-up voice lines as required.

Inmarsat Swift 64 End-of-Life (EOL) at End of 2020
Inmarsat's Swift 64 is a Mobile ISDN service that provides the same quality speed and service as terrestrial based ISDN.
Swift 64 supports symmetric service to and from an aircraft supporting one, two, or four-channel avionics as well as higher bandwidth through the bonding of up to four (4) 64kpbs channels together for 256kbps or higher through data compression.
