Fleet Xpress for OSV – Providing bandwidth flexibility to meet the changing demands of the Offshore Vessels (OSV) requirements. Delivering highspeed data through Inmarsat’s Global Xpress Ka-band network. (With L-band Backup) Inmarsat’s Global Xpress provides guaranteed global bandwidth to provide for the ever changing bandwidth and connectivity requirements on OSVs with the flexibility to upgrade and downgrade capacity as the needs arise. Providing service for enhanced operational efficiency, connectivity, crew welfare, and communications requirements in the global maritime market.
Service provided through a one (1) meter antenna providing committed information rates of up to 3Mbps uploads and 6Mbps downloads with the standard antenna. Utilizing the enhanced antenna service rates climb to 5Mbps uploads and 10Mbps downloads. An economic 128Kbps/128Kbps link is available when off-hire to keep core operational data available.
