Inmarsat partners with Isotropic Systems for Ka-band mobility antenna

Isotropic Systems entered into a strategic technology development agreement with Inmarsat to develop an all-electronic scanning antenna for potential use with Inmarsat’s growing constellation of high-throughput Global Xpress satellites. The partnership shows Inmarsat’s confidence in Isotropic Systems’ disruptive optical array technology and its market-focused business plan to expand the range of future mobility applications supported by the global high-throughput satellite (HTS) capacity now delivered by Inmarsat’s Ka-band Global Xpress network.
